When you’re looking for a fishing guide, fishing charter or the absolute best in angling instruction in Pensacola, Florida, Redfish University is the only place to be. Today and yesterday’s trips focused on inshore angling instruction as well as pure fish catching fun. Both mornings we started with small topwater Sebile Bongas, switching to Stickshadds then to Gulp! Jerkshads. Both mornings yielded 30-40 quality speckled trout, 6-12 redfish in the 20-28″ range and a few flounder. Lots of fish in very few places but most of the quality fish continue to come from the southern flats in the bays. Small fish to the north, at least for now. Finished with a nice stretch of great Redfish University inshore fishing trips and off for some travel fun/business time until Friday. Back at it hard with some very packed weeks until year’s end.
