Pensacola Fishing Charters-Redfish University Excellent August fishing here at Redfish University. Plenty of speckled trout and redfish in the upper bay system. Early morning starts are key and we’re taking fish on a variety of baits including topwater, hard baits, spoons and Gulp! Jerkshads and Shrimp. Tarpon are still cooperating well and will only get better in September and October. Baits variety but small crabs are a sure thing. Sight fishing redfish along the beach is also a great option and can be taken on Gulp! 4″ Shrimp.
